SEAFAN

Seafan, locally known as Rivehthi Falaghando (= “beautiful reef”) is one of the most photogenic reef sites around the island. It’s an easy, gentle dive, perfect for getting lost in detail: soft corals in all shades of pastel, healthy hard coral structures, and of course, the signature seafan garden that gives the site its name. Gorgonians sway in the current like underwater lace, creating the perfect backdrop for wide-angle shots and macro scenes alike.

It may be calm and colorful on the reef, but don’t forget to glance into the blue. Cruising thresher sharks or passing tiger sharks are regularly spotted here.

It’s that mix of peaceful reef and big blue potential that makes Seafan such a favorite - ideal for relaxed diving days with your camera in hand, and always worth a slow, curious pass.
