Bilhi Feyshi Dive Site
Bilhi Feyshi lies just south of Tiger Harbour along the southern reef, defined by a series of dramatic overhangs that create sheltered zones where marine life concentrates. The overhangs act as cleaning stations — stingrays, reef sharks, and occasionally thresher sharks use them to have parasites removed by cleaner wrasse.
The site drops from a shallow reef top at 10–15m down a stepped wall to 30m+. Each overhang level has its own ecosystem. The shallower ones host stingrays and reef fish. The deeper overhangs attract grey reef sharks and silvertip sharks. Thresher sharks are seen here at dawn, using the deeper cleaning stations before retreating to the abyss.
Bilhi Feyshi is an excellent alternative to Farikede for divers who want pelagic encounters without the extreme currents. The overhangs provide natural current breaks, making it more manageable while still delivering impressive species diversity.
Best Conditions
Year-round access. Best visibility December–April. Thresher sharks most active at the site during the dry season. The overhangs provide shelter even during moderate monsoon conditions.

Marine Life at Bilhi Feyshi
Thresher Sharks
Pelagic threshers visit the deeper overhangs at dawn for cleaning. Extremely shy — passive observation only. Best sightings before 7:30 AM.
Grey Reef Sharks
Resident population (1.5–2m) patrols the mid-depth overhangs. Bold enough to approach divers who remain still.
Bigeye Trevally
Dense schools use the overhang zones as shelter, creating impressive silver walls of fish.
Silvertip Sharks
Cruise the deeper wall sections (25–30m). Identified by white tips on fins. More cautious than grey reef sharks.
